**Summary:** Provides clerical and administrative assistance in support of the Senior Plant Staff Team Member, Primarily the Site Manager.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** The essential duties and responsibilities are detailed below. Other duties may be assigned by Management.

Follows all prescribed safety practices in order to prevent incidents or injuries.

Plans and conducts safety meetings.

Functions as a contributing member of the team so that team goals can be met.

Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job as required.

General office duties such as communication skills, filing and maintaining records, documents and/or correspondence.

Demonstrate proficiency to operate specific office equipment such as computers, copiers, printers, plotters, fax machines, calculators and other specialized equipment.

Enters information into computers to create and/or update databases or prepare correspondence, prepare purchase requisitions, maintain procedures and prepare documents.

Attention to details in order to process work accurately.

Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and coordinate contacts with vendors and customers.

Ability to compile data and generate reports from input gained from multiple sources.

Audit and reconcile records, as required.

Arrange travel schedules and reservations and set up meetings, on- and off-site, as required.

Provide back-up to other Administrative Assistants

**Education and/or Experience:**

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in an Office/Clerical position.

**Language Skills:**

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and required regulatory documents and reports.

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

* Ability to speak effectively before groups.

* Ability to communicate, in verbal and written form, with members of the Florida team as well as with vendors, customers and corporate visitors and regulatory agencies.

**Reasoning Ability:**

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data/information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and develop and implement solutions.

**Other Skills and Abilities:**

Ability to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the use of a personal computer with applications such as Word, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics and other applications for the development and generation of metrics, charts and reports. These applications include, but are not limited to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to learn or access information/databases and use/work within these databases. These include, but are not limited to, the internet/intranet, Incident Tracking System, XMS, SRM, SAP

Ability to reconcile bills such as American Express and US Bank and to file reports and maintain records of such activities. This could include the travel reports of others..

Ability to work in a multi-task environment, simultaneously working on more than one project or task, with the flexibility and ability to organize and handle multiple priorities when needed.

Ability to contribute as a member of a team and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job..

Ability to plan and schedule meetings, on- and off-site, and make travel arrangements.

Possess the organizational skills and ability to self-manage the responsibilities of this position with minimal supervision.

Support Plant Manager in management of community events and activities at different plant locations.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be required to use their hands to type or use a computer keyboard, handle objects or controls and to talk and hear. The employee will be required to reach with hands and arms and to walk to and from network printers and photocopy equipment.

Employee will also be required to wear plant required personal protective equipment (PPE), including, but not limited to, safety shoes and hard hat. Employee will also be required to drive (must have an updated driver's license) and take trips to various site locations and enter a manufacturing environment.
